I've got a confession to make: I'm head over heels for dogs, and if you catch me on a roll, you'll find me sprinting like the wind. But guess what? These days, I'm having an absolute blast connecting with awesome dog enthusiasts who also have a thing for pounding the pavement in Denver Dog Joggers. Believe it or not, I kicked off this whole adventure back in 2010, and since then, I've racked up a whopping 20,000+ miles with my furry companions right by my side. Yep, you heard that right – I'm basically living the dream!
Let me spill the beans – there's simply no better way for me to clock in those working hours. I've gotta tell you, my mind is blown time and again by the fantastic folks on our team. The way they shower our four-legged clients with oodles of love and care? It's like watching a magical show, and I sometimes think I'm the luckiest person in Denver just for getting to be a part of it.
Can we take a moment to give props to the remarkable members of our crew? Seriously, they've taken the reins and gone above and beyond the call of duty – it's like they've made their job titles their very own superhero capes. And let me tell you, I'm over the moon about the fact that we've got such outstanding Team Members here at DDJ. Remember that old saying about success coming from hanging out with the cream of the crop? Well, it's as true as ever, and I'm reminded of it every single day.
Honestly, if you had asked me back in the day, I never would've guessed that this little venture of mine would blossom into what it is now. And here I am, bouncing with excitement to meet your precious pooch and introduce you to the rockstar Team Members who keep our tails wagging. Let's make some pawsitively awesome memories together! 🐾

My wife and I have two dogs who regularly join us on our mountain adventures. We love hiking for the chance to meet new people and pups, and to share the unique beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Hi I’m Emma! Originally from Birmingham, AL, I packed up my life (plus my partner, dog, 2 cats, and a very friendly turtle) and made the move to Denver 5 months ago. I’ve been a lifelong athlete and soccer player, and when I’m not out hiking with your pup, you can probably find me playing in a local soccer league, weightlifting, camping, paddle boarding, or discovering new trails to conquer with my own pup! I’m also a big fan of live music, spontaneous city adventures, and all things outdoorsy. Dogs are truly the best part of any day, and I love getting to build fun, goofy, and trusted relationships with every pup I hike with. Nothing makes me happier than seeing those tails wag when I show up. Whether they’re high energy explorers or leaf-sniffing philosophers, I’m here for all their adventures!

Hi, I originally hail from Connecticut where I grew up playing field hockey and lacrosse. I continued my athletic career in college in Ohio but once I graduated, I moved to a more sunny Colorado and never looked back. Once my team sports days were over, I turned my focus to simply running which eventually led to racing. I have competed in 5ks to marathons and sprint triathlons to an Ironman. Since the day I was born, I have always had the privilege of having a black Labrador by my side. Dogs are such special companions and to be able to combine my love of running along with a furry friend is hard to beat. Thank you for entrusting your special canine friend with DDJ. I always look forward to our time together.

Hello! My name is Brian and I’m excited about being part of the Denver Dog Joggers Team! I'm originally from DC, with pit stops in NY and Portugal, before calling Colorado home 25 years ago. What a great place to be – with loads of trails and sunshine – and of course, a very dog-friendly environment for all our K9 pals! After being surrounded by animals so much of my life – dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and more – at this point, it’s just my own two children – a bit animalistic, if you ask me! In all seriousness, my kids are my true loves, but I do also love that I get to “borrow” your fur babies for even brief moments. I’ve been involved with sports of all sorts, but I never considered running to be a sport for me. That all changed about 4 years ago when I realized how much I actually love the sport of running and I’ve been hooked since! I enjoy training for and competing in races from time to time. But what better way to be out there in the sun and getting exercise, when I get to do it with some adorable four-legged companions!? When I’m not running and spending time with my kids, I keep busy managing my real estate investments, mentoring photography businesses, and producing music.

Hey! My name is Karlee. I grew up and lived in Maryland all my life until 2 years ago when I made the move out to the beautiful state of Colorado. My favorite weekend activity is going hiking or going for a walk or roller blading around the big parks in Denver. I have been a sports gal since I was little and played various sports throughout my life. One thing they all had in common was lots of RUNNING up and down the field/court. I’m thankful to be able to run as much as I do today AND now it’s even better that I spend a few hours a week running with amazing pups! I have my own pup named Lazer who is a sweet 1.5year old Weimaraner who loves relaxing, going on walks, weekend adventures to the mountains and most importantly loves frozen blueberries. I treat each and every DDJ pup I run and walk like my own and always create a positive experience for them by giving lots of pets and encouragement. Seeing the pups sitting at the door with big smiles waiting to be walked or ran is really something special. It instantly makes me grateful for the opportunity to work at DDJ because I know how stoked the pups are to get outside and simply enjoy the great outdoors! I cannot wait to meet you and your pups!

Hi There! I'm Armand. I was born and raised in Colorado and am a huge dog lover and avid runner. I ran track and cross country when I was a kid and really enjoy getting out and logging miles. I grew up with an Australian cattle dog named Pepper and she really sparked my love for dogs and all animals. I am a full time glassblower for a living, but when I am not working I love to get outdoors whether that be getting out into the mountains for a hike or a run around my hood. Can't wait to meet all the four legged friends and get to know them!

Hi I’m Jerry I’m originally from NJ but I’ve lived in Colorado for over 20 years now. Love that Colorado lifestyle! I’ve been working for Denver Dog Joggers since July 2015 and it’s just been such a great fit for me! I love working with all our wonderful four legged clients to ensure that they’re having fun and getting some good exercise. When I’m not running your pups I like to run Marathons. As a matter of fact I like them so much I’ve run 1 in all 50 States. I finished that goal in January 2016 and I’m still going strong. I look forward to giving your pup a fun great workout!

I come from a family of runners. All three of my siblings and myself ran cross country and track in high school and my dad was kicked off his university team for having girls in his dorm. But, one of those girls ended up being my mom. Worth it.
I'm Hoosier-born but I've lived in Colorado since 2004. I attended what was then called Western State College in Gunnison and there I ran by first (and thus far only) marathon. I have several half-marathons under my belt, though. My favorite is the “Indy Mini” which kicks off the Indy 500 festivities in Indianapolis. My dog at home is an old Westie. He doesn't run much. So, I look forward to taking your dog out on a trot! When not running, I'm brewing beer professionally, teaching my daughter how to ski, corralling my wild son, hiking, camping, roadtripping with the family, and riding myriad roller coasters (coaster count is at 301).

Hi! My name is Liza, and I have been working for Denver Dog Joggers since June 2018. I am very impressed with the detailed organization of management, accountability and of course all the love of dogs. I am originally from the east coast, and I moved to Colorado in the late 80s. Previously, I was a public school teacher for 23+ years, and now I am retired (although I continue to substitute teach and tutor). I love dogs, and I love to exercise outside, so this is currently the perfect part-time job for me. I am able to run/walk my own dog (Cooper, a RezDawg rescue) each morning before heading out to give your dog/s the love, attention and exercise they deserve while you are at work or busy at home. I love getting to know your dog/s of all breeds, ages and sizes and exploring the fun scenic routes around your neighborhood. I also love reading about your dogs’ needs and doing my best to follow all of the well-thought-out detailed notes in your profile. I look forward to running and/or walking with your dog/s!

Hey there! I’m Taylor, just another Colorado transplant who traded the sandy shores of Southern California for the mountain air of Arvada, CO in 2022. Growing up in Huntington Beach, CA, I was all about surfing and skateboard, It wasn’t until my rescue dog Iris, with her boundless energy, dragged me into running that I found my true stride. The best reward is seeing Iris light up on our outdoor nature escapades; her happiness giving me a fresh perspective and grounding me in the moment. Other than running, some of my other favorite outdoor activities are golfing, hunting, and horseback riding. With Colorado’s incredible outdoor lifestyle, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago where I ran cross country in high school, but my running really took off when a friend encouraged me to do a half marathon with her in Malibu in 2012. I’ve been running for fun and fitness ever since then! When I’m not taking your pups out for a walk, jog or run, I am at home running after my two toddler daughters, snuggling with our border collie Chilly, training for my next race, hiking, biking, reading and taking classes to support my current career transition. I can’t wait to meet your dogs and enjoy some sunshine together!

These days, you can usually find me playing ultimate frisbee, riding my bike, lifting weights, or out on a run enjoying the Colorado sunshine. I love being outdoors and making the most of everything Colorado has to offer. Hi there! I’m Marley, and I’m originally from Albuquerque, NM. I ran cross country in both high school and college, which sparked my passion for running. Over time, I also developed a love for backpacking and completed three thru-hikes, including the Colorado Trail. My running journey has since evolved into trail running, where I’ve progressed from 5Ks to 50Ks!
I’m excited to meet your pups and run outside with them! Growing up with a German Shepherd named Chaco, I’ve always loved outdoor adventures with dogs. Along with my dog experience, I have a background as a nanny and in education, so I’m comfortable and adept at working with pets and people alike.
In addition to running and spending time with dogs, I enjoy climbing, traveling, and eating healthy. Currently, I'm working towards pursuing graduate school, which is an exciting next step in my professional journey. I’m thrilled to be part of DDJ and can’t wait to log some miles with your furry friends!

Hi there - I’m Christina! I can’t think of a better way to spend time than outdoors with dogs! I grew up in Colorado Springs, but have since bounced around the country. I am very excited to be back in the beautiful, sunny Front Range where I can explore the mountains to my heart’s content and take advantage of endless opportunities for hiking, backpacking, 14er-ing, and of course – running! I began running solo as a way to continue prioritizing my fitness after I finished college and no longer had a track team to train with. It has become my favorite way to get out and move (especially when accompanied by a canine companion who is having a blast). When I’m not outdoors, you can find me crocheting, caring for my numerous houseplants, baking sweet treats, salsa dancing, or snuggling with my own pup, Abby. I can’t wait to show your furry family members the love and kindness that all pups deserve, provide the exercise and enrichment that is essential to their wellbeing, and bring them home safe, tired, and happy!

Hi! My name is Mickey! I moved to Denver in 2021 after living in Austin, TX for 9 years. I was an ultramarathon runner before suffering an injury in 2020, but have enjoyed hiking and running shorter distances post-recovery. I love getting outside and running with my own dogs and any friends who will join me. In my professional life, I’m a biomedical/forensic photographer, as well as a fitness instructor, and a circus performer in the local Denver area. I’m so excited to be part of DDJ and to meet and spend some time with your fur-babies!

Been living and loving Colorado since 2000, when I came out from New Jersey for college and snowboarding. I'm still riding every winter. I also practice kung fu, dance as often as I can, and volunteer at my kid's school. I love dogs, and most animals, but snakes give me the willies.

Hi, I’m originally from South Dakota where I grew up running track and cross country. I graduated from MSU in Mankato, Minnesota and moved to Colorado for the mountains and less snow! Running has remained a constant throughout my life and has been a great way to get outside and stay healthy. I ran my first marathon with my dad August 2023. I am originally from Pennsylvania and spent most of my adulthood in Wisconsin where I attended school and I found my other passion of early childhood education. I moved to Colorado in 2015 with my husband and dog, Sam. We have been raising three young children and recently returned from living abroad in Thailand for over a year. Hi everyone, I’m Chloe! Running became a love for me after college! I grew up being more of a couch potato than someone who enjoyed being active. I had many friends in college that were very active and it was a wake up call to turn around on the road I was going. I started running as an easy and cheap way to burn calories. And after a few runs a week I noticed how amazing and proud I felt after. Since college I’ve run 4 marathons, and over 15 half marathons.
I’ve always had dogs growing up. And when I found myself moving back in with my parents trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life I’d get up every morning with our family’s dog Luna, a Siberian Husky, and we would go out for our run together. That time with her was so special. I remember how happy she was when I woke up, she always knew that it was time for a run. I’ve lived in Denver for 6 years. I’m a Flight Attendant for Southwest Airlines, and because I travel so often it isn’t possible for me to have a dog right now. I’d love to spend time with your pups and get them some great exercise.

Hey, my name's Morgan! I moved to Denver in 2024 to study Clinical Herbalism and I am having the time of my life in this beautiful dog-obsessed city! Dogs are truly the purest souls on Earth and they all deserve the utmost care and attention. Growing up in the Northwoods of Minnesota helped foster a deep love of the outdoors and respect for nature. Camping is my favorite thing to do on the weekends; I love going on hikes, identifying plants, and paddle boarding in glacial lakes. I've been an avid runner my whole life, but races aren't really my thing. For me, running is therapy and it provides a sense of freedom that can feel otherwise unattainable at times. My goal is to provide your dogs with that same sense of freedom while ensuring the highest level of safety and attentive care. Hi, my name is Enrique! I’m a Colorado native who loves this state for its winter weather and all the sports that come with it. I’m also excited to have another reason to hike the beautiful mountains we have here. Outside of work, I’m an intermediate bodybuilder, and while cardio has always been part of my training, this opportunity lets me enjoy it in a whole new way. I’ve been around dogs and animals my whole life, and I love interacting with them and showing them the same respect and care they give us. Hi there! I’m Katie, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Denver Dog Joggers team. I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life, so working in Denver with dogs feels like a perfect fit. Professionally, I recently became the owner of a Caring Transitions franchise (as of early 2025), after spending a decade in the senior living industry. Through my franchise, I help older adults and their families with meaningful transitions: downsizing, relocating, organizing, and estate sales.
Outside of work, dogs have always been part of my life — I currently have two, and I grew up in a household with a dog. I joined Denver Dog Joggers because I want to meet more wonderful dogs, spend time outdoors, stay active, and make a bit of extra income doing something I love. I hope to be a reliable, enthusiastic asset to the team, bringing kindness, energy, and a passion for pups to every walk or run we take together.

Hi I'm Karli! I'm a Colorado native who loves everything and anything outdoors. I have been a regular runner since high school, both in sports and as a part of my workout routine. I have always had dogs in my life as long as I can remember and I wouldn't have it any other way! I am a portrait artist by trade and when I'm not working on art I love to spend time with my family hiking, biking and exploring new places. Exercise is a top priority for our family and our pets.
