While Denver Dog doesn't offer overnight sitting directly—as Denver’s minimum wage laws would make full overnight rates prohibitively expensive for our clients—we still want your pup in loving hands while you're away.

As a courtesy to our community, we connect you directly with trusted, vetted caregivers, including off-duty Denver Dog team members and exceptional independent pet sitters we personally know and trust.

How Our Referral Network Works

100% Goes to the Sitter: We take zero commission or finder’s fees. You get fair rates, and your sitter keeps 100% of their earnings.
Direct Connection: You arrange scheduling, care details, and payments directly with your chosen sitter.
Independent Care: Overnight sitting is managed independently by each caregiver and is separate from official Denver Dog team training and walking services.

When you book an overnight sitter from our referral network, your pup gets the best of both worlds! Your sitter handles cozy nighttime stays and quick potty breaks, while Denver Dog seamlessly steps in to handle what we do best—high-energy runs, mountain hikes, and extended walks.

We make it easy to coordinate daytime workouts with your sitter so your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired while you're away.

Since 2010, I’ve had the absolute joy of caring for Denver’s best dogs. As the founder of Denver Dog, my goal is simple: give your four-legged family member a true home-away-from-home experience where they aren't just "boarded"—they are welcomed as an honored guest in our family.

Our home is built for ultimate pup relaxation and fresh-air lounging, featuring:

🚪 All-Day Outdoor Access: A doggy door so they can come and go whenever nature calls.

🌳 Spacious, Grassy Backyard: Plenty of room for sunbathing, tail-wagging, and sniffing.

🏔️ Serene Mountain Views: Epic Front Range scenery for a calm, relaxing environment.

🐾 VIP Guest List Prerequisites

To keep our home harmonious, safe, and stress-free for everyone, all visiting pups must meet a few simple ground rules:

100% House-Dog that are not house trained will not be a good fit.

Kid & Dog-Friendly: Must play well with others and love hanging out with two-legged and four-legged companions alike.

Grounded Athletes: Must respect a 5.8-foot fence (no Olympic pole-vaulters or escape artists, please!).

You can enjoy your trip with total peace of mind, knowing your pup is in experienced, loving hands—living their best mountain life right along with you!

Hello! I would be truly honored to watch your pup while ensuring their safety and providing them with the love and attention that they would expect in their own home. Although I do lots of hikes, runs and walks with pups through DD, it's just not enough! With the recent passing of my black lab, I am even more eager to snuggle up and spend quality time with your pup.

While my fenced-in yard is large and spacious; my home is rather small. Consequently, I keep the number of pups that I watch to a minimum, no more than 3.

I am happy to provide a complimentary "meet up" with you and your pup at your house or mine for a chance for all of us to meet and to quell any apprehension you may have in leaving your pup with me while you are away. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a dedicated pet care professional with a true passion for dogs and years of hands-on experience. I’ve been proudly working for Denver Dog since February 2025, where I’ve done everything from outdoor hiking adventures to behind-the-scenes admin work. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of both canine care and the logistics that go into providing top-notch service.

I am usually completely free on weekends and work from home M-W, so I have the unique opportunity to be fully present for your pup most days. I generally prefer overnight stays in your home, as this helps your pup keep their usual routine and remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I live with my own energetic Heeler-Husky mix who keeps me on my toes and constantly inspired, and I understand the energy, love, and patience our canine companions need and deserve. I’m here to provide that while you’re away. Let’s chat! :)

I provide personalized, one-on-one care by hosting only one dog family at a time, ensuring your pup(s) gets my undivided attention. Whether it's tailored walks, tug-of-war, fetch sessions or snuggles on the couch, your dog will enjoy plenty of fun and individualized care based on their needs. I'm happy to host your dog or travel to you.

Growing up with Boxers, I've always had a deep love for dogs. After losing my sweet girl to cancer in 2020, I started running with DDJ. Five years later I'm still running and now also serve as a trainer, interviewer, and master scheduler.

Hello! I'm Brian — I'm a runner/walker and Field Manager at Denver Dog. Having been with DD for several years now, I oversee a lot of the day-to-day operations, which means I know firsthand what truly great pet care looks and feels like.

With a lifetime surrounded by animals, I can say I've seen it all — at one point I was sharing my home with three goats, a dozen chickens, two cats, and a dog all at once! Now that my home has quieted down to just humans, I'm genuinely thrilled to fill it back up with your loved ones whenever you need.

I can host dogs at my place, giving them my full attention in a comfortable, relaxed environment -- including a fully fenced 6-ft yard for safe outdoor time. I'm also available to stay at your home and provide care for your pets in their familiar surroundings.
